It's always nice to post some good news on this blog, even if it is only tangential to gaming.
So this is a photo of my son, Cei, playing in a HOTT tournament back in 2005 at the tender age of 10. This wasn't his first tournament - he'd played for a couple of years - but the earliest I have a photo of.

And here he is yesterday, 15 years later, getting married to the lovely Michelle.
They got engaged earlier this year, but decided to go ahead and have their wedding as soon as restrictions started to ease here, putting the whole thing together in a couple of months. It was a fantastic day; a very relaxed ceremony and reception with as many family and friends as we were allowed in the room, and lots of fun and laughter. I even delivered a pretty decent speech.
Here I am with the happy couple, and Catherine, who looked amazing.

And true to form, the reception ended with a group of people playing a game - a card game called Skulls. They played until the venue threw us out. That's our family for you.
So, anyway, I have a daughter-in-law now, and it's wonderful!
Congratulations to you all! It’s great to have some good news.
