I'm off into the wilds for a couple of weeks, and am travelling (relatively) light, so don't have room for miniatures, terrain or other gaming paraphernalia. So to keep me amused I'm going to try some old-school solo dungeon crawling, courtesy of Ganesha Games.
I have the basic game, plus some variant tables and a paragraph adventure. So I should have plenty to keep me busy.
I'll let you know how I got on when I return.
Enjoy! My son has been playing a LOT Of 4AD lately. He's been trying to figure out how to play through all my old D&D modules using it!
ReplyDeleteI wondered how you might do that;I guess you'd have to read the adventure, amd convert it as you went along. Or read it all and create some tables for encounters and so on.
DeleteI'd be interested in his solutions.
I'm not sure he's figured it out just yet, himself. I'll let you know if he does. There's a Facebook group he's part of and shares lots of ideas there - The Four Against Darkness Adventurer's Guild? I think that's what it's called...?
DeleteYes, I'm a member of that group as well.
