There's going to be a show!
Yes, the Muse School of Burlesque is putting on a student showcase in just a week or so from now. A few of us will be debuting new acts that we've been putting together under the school's mentorship and guidance, a couple of the mentors will be performing, and there will be a new group performance. I will be presenting a new act ('Professor Persano Presents') and both my wife and daughter will be making their solo debuts as Henrietta Fowl and Faerie Cake respectively.
It's all very exciting.
There will be a lot of restrictions in order to keep us in line with the state governments COVID rules, the biggest of which will be that the audience will be pretty small. But there will at least be an audience, so that's good. They will have to be encouraged to make lots more noise than usual.
