Deep Dream

Has anyone else ever played around with Google's Deep Dream algorithm? I ran a couple of random pictures from this blog through it, and the results were interesting.

Obviously like any tool of this nature the results you get really depend on your choice of picture. The page shows a continuous stream of things being produced by other people, so if you look through those you can get a good feel for what kind of pictures work, and what don't.

And you don't have to use photos either:

Oh, and you can feed the results back into the algorithm as well, to get a double dream. This is my current Facebook profile picture, double Dreamed:

  4. Inspired by your post, I experimented a bit with Google Deep Dream. Pictures are on my blog Herr Zinnlings Arbeitszimmer under the label "deep dream".
