*Insert Name Here* - Rules For Superhero Skirmishes

OK, so I now pretty much have a first draft of some superhero skirmish rules ready to post here. I want to try out a couple of ideas before doing that, but essentially I'm there.

But the most important part of the rules remains to be done.

They need a name. Currently they are sitting under the heading of 'Great Power, Great Responsibility', which has a nice ring but sounds more like a RPG. A small voice in the back of my head suggested 'Clobberin' Time' as an alternative, but I'm not sure about that.

So, alternative suggestions are welcome. Put them in the comments.

  1. "Clobberin' Time" is pretty good, and we all should instantly recognise the phrase. But as less copyright infringing alternatives... what about "Capes & Capers" (perhaps a little daggy!) or "Masks & Madmen" (still kitschy). Heroes & Henchmen? Perhaps I should stop with the alliteration...
Is there a particularly central rule / roll / action that you could hang a name on, in the same way "Heroclix' refers to the clicky bases?

  2. ClobberinG Time! Is great. Im a big fan of Ben Grimm, but it also has the un-dark, Bokko! Feel of the batman TV Show.

  4. I like Clobberin' Time as well, but in case it doesn't pass muster:

    >Sooper-Doopers

    >CBC (Comic Book Conflicts)

    >SAS (Super-Awesome Skirmishing)

  5. Clobberin' Time is pretty damn good. I sometimes try to put things into Latin through google translate. So Rixae Tempus (Scuffle Time) is one that came up.
