So the types really are Infantry, Cavalry and Artillery, some modified as Elite or Militia and with Skirmishers and Gauchos as variants I'm experimenting with.

Using 6mm like this makes the game *very* portable, but it does lack visual appeal. what I'd like to do, now I'm fairly settled on 12-16 element armies for this era, is base everything on standard HOTT 40mm frontages, and use four of those bases per element. Should look pretty good and for most battles it will give a figure scale of between 1:10 and 1:20.Kaptain Koboldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17082772546044655044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-91135320676699101752013-10-01T15:20:59.416+10:002013-10-01T15:20:59.416+10:006mm is not a scale that appeals to me, but this po...6mm is not a scale that appeals to me, but this posting sure makes it look good! I clear and concise account, well illustrated by the pics. Nice armies! As one who is thinking of building up a couple of HoTT armies, I'd like to know what the troop types in HoTT terms each side had ('shooters', 'scouts', that kind of thing).
Thanks,
IonArchduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.com
