I reckon all three of your pilots went down in flames, so total was the destruction of their aircraft :)Kaptain Koboldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17082772546044655044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-90032904636628739472016-03-04T14:51:52.753+11:002016-03-04T14:51:52.753+11:00I'll have a word with Caesar about the goat (w...I'll have a word with Caesar about the goat (who didn't end up being called Rommel, but is called Loki)Kaptain Koboldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17082772546044655044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-14674211122116404472016-03-04T14:43:59.152+11:002016-03-04T14:43:59.152+11:00Never mind, Ralph, I fared no better when playing ...Never mind, Ralph, I fared no better when playing the British in the second game. Alan is a cunning opponent with these C&C games. As for Instant Thunder, a great little game and a nice way to finish up the night, even if I did have to eject out of my F84.Caesarnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-82264788712991115082016-03-04T08:01:35.943+11:002016-03-04T08:01:35.943+11:00Yes thanks for the thrashing Kaptain...An enjoyabl...Yes thanks for the thrashing Kaptain...An enjoyable game but I have mixed feelings about how well the game models the Western Front. The utter lack of cards allowing me to activate any units on my left flank where the attack was coming from might have been rationalised that the phone wire from HQ had been cut in the initial bombardment, but then surely the units in place could have done something rather than just watch the tommies plod towards them...and that initial bombardment was very good at cutting the wire - something I understand WW1 tommies would have given their eye teeth for....hmm, perhaps I need to play this more....Sparkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07008013944950635778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-66492395857337079512016-03-04T07:01:37.730+11:002016-03-04T07:01:37.730+11:00Where was everyone else then?

I did quite enjoy it but definitely need to play it again to get a better feel for it.

I'm still waiting for pictures of the goat.
