I always shy away from those types of games because they seem to be focused on units with individual figure removal, but I'm aware that this sin't actually important to the way the game works now, and you can record losses in other ways.

However I also feel that the game doesn't really offer anything more than HOTT, and is less flexible in terms of individual army creation.

I quite like the look of Dragon Rampant, and may buy that at some stage and give it a go; it looks like you can use one or two HOTT elements to represent a unit with no difficulty.Kaptain Koboldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17082772546044655044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-13229645962765495702017-02-13T05:35:34.383+11:002017-02-13T05:35:34.383+11:00

The figures are very primitive (more like hobbits than dwarves) and a mix of pike and axemen. I guess time will tell their fate.Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-39584263387908629822017-02-11T15:00:56.983+11:002017-02-11T15:00:56.983+11:00Thanks. I thought that the black and white facial markings would break up the rather dull all-metal machines, and after I'd done them realised that it would also make for an excellent shield-design. Finally one of the heroes has an animal-head on his helmet, so I did that as well.Kaptain Koboldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17082772546044655044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2570039711549278262.post-73059624013287371152017-02-11T14:57:00.924+11:002017-02-11T14:57:00.924+11:00That's a great looking army.
